• Justice Minister Jack Straw engages with the consultative process on Titan prisons. And gets roundly berated for it. It's like all those howls of "CONTROL FREAK" from the Tories and meedja under the Tonemeister never happened, isn't it?
• Giles Coren writes the commentariat equivalent of that phrase oft-heard by canvassers: "I've always been a Labour voter until [insert issue de jour here]." Obviously this is usually met with the same response from our foot soldiers that we, at Common Endeavour, are directing towards Red Giles Coren's "commitment" to the comrades passim: chinny reckon!

• Harriet Harman's Equalities Bill is going to ban men from the workplace and make homosexuality compulsory for the under-fives. Feminazism gone mad! Well, according to the Daily Mail anyway;
• There was a climate change protest in the Commons yesterday. Tom Harris is emphatically not impressed;
• The Liberal Conspiracy reckons that Labour's failed its own supporters because of Trident and ID cards which are the only issues the core vote care about (as opposed to the 50 percent tax on those earning over £150,000 etc);
